Have a great wee car there lads or girls.

However im having an issue with the clutch and I no notting about them.

Starts grand but there's a sqeeking noise. The slightest touch that I press on the clutch. It completely stops goes into gear as normal no issues in taken off an gaining speeds etc. But when I release my foot from the clutch it sqeeks. So basically i have a sqeeking clutch when theres no pressure on it Any idea or am I looking at a new clutch cheers all

An yup here's me only way too ask this a fabber too another Faber

It would appear you have a squeaky clutch pedal. If there are no problems when driving then that's probably all it is. Diagnosing clutch problems like this is not easy or particularly wise. I'd find a mechanic, or at least someone who knows their way around a car, to be sure.

Turn up the radio.

Does the noise go away?

If so it's fine as long as the radio volume stays up.

Like others have said release bearing.. Usually wears out fast when holding clutch pedal in at traffic lights etc instead of taking car out of gear when idling

"Make and model of the car?"
mk5 golf a lot said it what's up is the bearing. So I might just change the hole clutch. Least that was I know there's new bearings and what not. So I am just around for prices atm.

Like moat said, clutch release bearing... of your doing it you may as well do the clutch.. the stripping is the major cost. To trouble shoot the issue here namimg the make model and kilometers would help diagnose the issue.. . With cars they all have their issues from that its easier to estimate the problem.
