I think a huge amount of people will be able to move out of high rental areas and work from home.

Definitly working from home culture. So many job sectors have the capability to wfh for years, but just the logistics of how to manage it wasnt there, or employers were worried that productivity would be affected.

Now we know it's feasible, workplaces have made changes to promote it, and it has become the new norm.

I see this as being a permanent thing after the pandemic. Not wfh everyday, but the option will be there

My car does 3 weeks to the gallon

Shower and dress in the morning and travel time to work is under 30seconds

I’ve been able to sleep in work when I had a hangover one day

Being in for the post man so I don’t have to go searching for parcels he’s left in the back garden somewhere

Unexpected extra time with my young adult children - quite nice people, it turns out!

No pressure to go anywhere or do anything outside of work

No random fabbers asking if you're up to any fun this weekend

I've had way more time to read.

I've cooked more.

And I have spent less time in front of a screen the longer this has gone on

My evenings and weekends used to be mental - a game here, training there - now I've learnt how to sit out the back and listen to the birds whilst sipping a coffee and having a read of some of my books. I don't think I'll ever go back to the mayhem when this is all over.

World wide awareness of whats really important... time with family, time for yourself to reflect, ability to save, reduced Co2 & capitalists taking it from behind... although id say there's many here jealous of that

More time together as a couple, more walks together, doing a lot more of the simple things like watching some Netflix together in the evening after tea... we never had time to do until now as always running from one thing to the next!... Oh and definitely more good sex together and definitely closer and more in love than ever

Well, from strokes, heart attacks, cancer, etc etc

Seems it's de rigeur for medics to call a terminal cancer patient a covid casualty, ignoring a tumour for the lad with a cough in the next bed

Lots of positives here.

Cheaper petrol/diesel is one, the downside is we can't go anywhere so don't need as much. Upside is we got the oil filled.

Got a lot of work done around the house & garden, can't have friends around to enjoy it, but we have time in the evenings to sit out & enjoy it ourselves with a bbq & a beer.

Mrs A is working from home & is mad busy so she is enjoying having her breakfast & lunch handed to her when she wants & not having to get up from her desk every 10 minutes for the dog wanting out, cat wanting in, dog wanting in 2nd cat wanting in, 1st cat attacking 2nd cat, 2nd dog wanting in & having no idea how 2nd dog got out to begin with!
