I have been a guest of the State multiple times.

The decor is usually wanting, the room service is horrendous but the free lift to the accommodation cannot be beat.

Yes. My soon to be ex had me arrested for talking to him. We had counter safety orders against one another. He BS'ed into getting his against me whereas I had proper grounds to have one against him.

So I was arrested as he said he felt in fear. I was in 3 different cells that day. Came back to our family home later that day. He had refused to move out after I found out he was having an affair. Things were TOXIC between us.

My case got thrown out of court months later. He failed to even turn up.

Our 2 kids saw me getting arrested

It was in retaliation on me as he has been arrested 3 times as he breached me safety order.

We no longer live under 1 roof as I did the right thing and moved out of the family home. He should have.

I was put in a cell for a few hours one night for passing out d*unk. I can’t rennet a thing the father had me back in bed in the morning when I woke up. He would not have said a think but I was sure something was a bit off and I asked him if I knew how I got home and he said he collected me at the Garda station.

I was drinking in a pub in Limerick once and a Garda came in and I was told I along with a few of my mates were volunteering for a line up in the Garda station. They promised to drop us back to the pub after but when it was over we were told to fuck off!!!

He was taking it for a test drive after and asked me to go with him

We were a few miles away when the car was surrounded by unmarked cop cars and we were dragged out at gunpoint,put on the ground,hands behind back and handcuffs on.

They found a machine gun in with the spare tyre

I practically had a crap right there and then with a load of aul wans looking at us from their front gardens on a sunday afternoon.

Brought to the station in a van still handcuffed and my parents had to come down.I was released after a very strong warning from a guard higher up and my parents grounded me.

It turned out that my mates dad was connected to some gangster and had recommended his son to fix a car for him.

The cops called to the house a week later and warned me about hanging around with my mate anymore.

My one and only time I've ever had handcuffs on

No never, but there a few hot ban garda here in Killarney that were on road block duty during covid. Every night we got stopped, I begged her to slap the cuffs on me and do a strip search. Fair play to her she took it as a laugh and waved me through.

Fortunately I had the Sheik in my corner as the ordinance we were delivering was for him, once we suggested ringing him we got downgraded to house arrest in the holiday inn....
