Recentky rejoined dating apps as you do as a single. Hoping to chat a good bit until it's safe to meet..

Well I must say men here have more chat and patience about meeting when safer then men on these dating apps

Many moons ago I was on a dating app too (way before I discovered fab. Men in vanilla world do seem to stick to good aul "Hi. Wdc?" Craic and general small talk got way too repetitive way too quickly.

Two years later joined it again and found most same profiles with same photos still sending "Hi, wdc?" Messages with their small talk. Left it after less than a month and swore I'll never be back.

In regards of what you said about meets - most men, who see sites like fab as a dodgy seedy place insist on not wearing protection and have never (once or twice been tested for anything as God forbid they would be seen in any clinic).

People like this, who have been okay with taking such steps will be okay with meeting strangers during a pandemic too. Insisting on sticking to "it'll be grand sure" attitude.

I find it that men on fab have been exposed to more people who they seek to meet expressing their wants, feelings and emotions, leading to better understanding that they're not some golden studs doing anyone a favour, so they're forced to learn some respect not to be ignored and deleted all the time.

That's me talking about decent ones who like to act like human beings and to treat others as such as it's what leads them to be treated as such.

You will get fuckwits who will manage to get the biggest sigh, eyeroll and enthusiasm to push the block button everywhere though.

Haven't tried the dating apps, other than Fet and the "other" Irish swing site but Fab is so much better from so many aspects, the banter and Craic being tantamount
