I've seen photos of swallows who arrived in March this year. They don't nest around my place so I tend not to see many of them at all but they're here all the same.

They have been back at least 3 weeks and my sister has seen them near Sligo as well.

The Housemartins are currently building 3 x nests on our house at the minute.

Before they nest put a CD disc up..( heavy metal )

I've at least 5 swallows nests around our house in our outbuildings. The noise from the chicks is driving the kids mad. I love to see them around the place though..

The swallows are back here. Been in our garage for as long as I can remember. I heard loads died on the way this year near Greece due to flying into stormy weather and they died from exhaustion
