Im so sorry about the way some guys treat ye...

A friend of mine joined up today.. and within 30min of her joining the amount of messages and some not all too nice and some very demanding..

Guys.. we have to cop on... its not fair on some of the ladies. My friend was just dipping her toe in for a look.... and the messages she got.. and her profile was blank. No pictures up .. and still the messages and content.. not fair on them..

I knew they get a lot of messages, but the amount she got in 30min of joining...

Again i apologise..

Also - filters don't make much of a difference to what messages say. They only limit who can message you, not what the message contains.

This site is not the most user friendly especially to newbies trying to find their feet here. We are targeted immediately as fresh meat. When I first started I didn't notice the filters and I woke up to 402 messages next morning. I can see why ladies would be overwhelmed by it all. Thankfully I soon found the block button was my best friend

It took me a few days to find the filters when I first joined a friend told me about them. It made a big difference. No one should or needs to apologise for anyone elses behaviour and there are plenty of decent guys on here. Oh no am I the female version of a whote Knight now

And ye do wonder why women join here and then either never log in again or delete their profile within 24 hrs ...the answer is cos of the sheer volume of messages denands insults and threats received before they even have a chance to look around here and figure out how to block and filter .all new members should be mail free for the first 3 days of joining so they can get a feel for the site and what it can offer .then youd see more ladies staying and participating on their own terms .

I found them 4 months later since joined thanks to one fab guy

And even having all filters up, time to time it happens I receive nasty, abusive or really not even worthwhile to quote messages.

We all know the ratio men to women is rather unbalanced which results in too much messages for women and no replies for men. So there's negative consequences for both sides resulting out of it. Women however are in the lucky position to avail of filters which cut out the crap to a very substantial amount. There's no filter for men for being more successful on here but to hit the 'right' note with the ladies and unfortunately what is 'right' for one isn't 'right' for another. Sorry op but apologising for other men's cockhead messages is all wrong imo and your appeal although most likely well meant isn't going to change anything. If you support a woman joining fab the best advise you can give is to set filters straight from the beginning. You obviously missed that opportunity, op.

Wether there is 1000 men per woman or it's a sex site. It does not give any person the right to be disrespectful to anyone.

But I definitely use the private notes and block button alot.

If your serious about swinging I think you would understand how to speak to any woman

This place might have a lot of cretins and time wasters but the are generally behind their keyboards. There are plenty of decent Gentleman on here as well.

I think OP needs to have a think about why he didn't offer his friend advice in the first place.

If you support a woman joining fab the best advise you can give is to set filters straight from the beginning. You obviously missed that opportunity, op. "

A friend of mine joined up today.. and within 30min of her joining the amount of messages and some not all too nice and some very demanding..
