I need to get fitter and there's loads of places I want to see as well once I get my ass in gear and get fitter. At the moment I'd be too unfit and would be worried I'd hold people back if I went out with them.

There used to be a group in Donegal who walked the hills, they were very coy about what went on up them thar hills but we can guess

Loads of amazing walks around Ireland I'd like to try and on the life list when life resumes. By than should be able to do them and hopefully not fall over lol

There used to be a couple groups. One group walked mainly around Donegal and the other Wicklow mountains. Most are still around on fab but not sure the groups still meet together anymore.

Cuilcagh boardwalk trail Co Fermanagh is good and beautiful views and Ben Bulbens Co Sligo is class.

Sure we are spoiled for walks really!

Maybe we should get a group going there is a few cottages that do weekend rentals and i know lots of walks all when this is over of course

That why it was a monthly activity And it was two months in the Kik group before the first walk was arranged. This soon ed out those who were less interested in the walking.

Before this lockdown I used to walk alot around Newcastle. My aim is to walk high into a mountain. Only hills for me till I get fitter. Slivenaslat was the highest I got last year. The view was epic.

Before lockdown I had just started hillwalking, it’s outside the 2km zone so haven’t been back yet but hopefully once they ease the distance more I’ll be back. It’s about 400m and the highest point around so on a clear day the views are stunning.

I can't wait to get out for a good photo shoot, I picked up my dream lens on the Friday that all this crap started, so still waiting to get out in the wicklow mountains to shoot the dear, it's a great day out just tracking the dear and if your lucky you get that one great shot.

Love hiking. Last big one I did was tour fe Mont Blanc, 170km and done in a week..everyone else i know is itching to get to the pub after lockdown, but I’m itching to get out hiking and camping
