A man was found murdered in bed on a sunny Sunday morning and his wife

called the guards

The guards questioned everyone in the house including the wife and all the staff

The answers they got were as follows

The wife said she was sleeping

The maid was getting the mail

The gardener was planting vegetables

The butler was cleaning a closet

The cook was cooking the breakfast

The Guards immediately arrested the murderer

Who did it ...how did they know
