So todays musical icons are U2

I'm trying to keep this music related but understand that some people will always hate them over tax or just Bono issues

That being said the power of these guys music and there live performances is just incredible

I was lucky enough to be inside the claw stage back in 2009 at Croke park and its still the best experience at a concert I've ever had

They might not be able to fill stadiums anymore but even in smaller venues like 3Arena they are magnificent

If you want to see them at the top of their powers look up "where the streets have no name " Rosebowl 360 tour and see how they brought the crowd with them

My favorite track "Bad "

Lucan

The difference between God and Bono?

God doesn't walk around Dublin thinking he's Bono.

Joshua Tree tour in croke park in 87 was the best convert I've been to! Not a fan anymore but hard to deny they were brilliant back in the day! Can't listen to Bono's voice without wanting to punch him in the chops!!!! Bullet the blue sky was fantastic live!!!

Derry

Saw them in Landsdowne Road in 1997 on their Popmart tour. They put on a great show in fairness. Their last couple of albums haven't been great, but apart from the obvious classics, I loved "Dirty Day" and the tune "Please" on their Pop album

South Dublin Area

Probably only band in history to be able to reinvent themselves and still be able to stay at the top with best selling albums and quality music.

Gods Own Country

Botanic Gardens, Belfast way back in the day... Great summer day, new open air venue, Lemon tour.

Absolutely smashed it that day.

I love the older stuff more, BAD live is just on another level
