... About one another shall we?

Help a brother out during the lockdown...

Tell me;

A book you've read more than once?

A film that brought a tear to your eye?

A song or piece of music that stirs you?

The most beautiful thing you've ever seen?

The most memorable place you've ever been?

And once we regain normality, the first thing you want to do?

A book you've read more than once?

I read a lot of books more than once to be honest, every time you read a book it's different, because you're different. Different scenes take on a new weight, or you're more in tune to the literary flourishes.

But the ones that stick out are Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, Stephen King's The Dark Tower series, Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho (fun fact, I attended a Q&A session of Ellis's about a year ago with a Fabber and manged to ask him a question! Squee!), Jeffrey Eugenides' Middlesex and John Folwes' The Collector.

If we were to get into comics or graphic novels the list would be A LOT longer.

A film that brought a tear to your eye?

A mixed bunch here. The Royal Tenenbaums. Magnolia. Terminator 2.

Schindler's List. Leaving Las Vegas. Requiem For A Dream. The Fountain. V for Vendetta.

I can get REAL invested in films.

A song or piece of music that stirs you?

Music isn't really my jam. Film is more my thing. But very fond of Philip Glass, Max Richter, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Warduna and classic rock.

The most beautiful thing you've ever seen?

The Milky Way Galaxy through a snow storm from the top of a mountain in the Salt Flats in Bolivia.

The most memorable place you've ever been?

Ecuador. Rome. The Bolivian Salt Flats. So far!

And once we regain normality, the first thing you want to do?

Hug my parents and brothers.... Sit in a cafe and people watch... Lie in a bed with someone, cuddling and snoozing. Not as exciting as some of my other desires but tis the truth!!!

The last one could double up as memorable place and what you're going to do when this is all over.

I'm reading "sex at Dawn" for the second time, at the moment.

Movies, L'Odeur de Papaye Vert.

A place ill never forget, my last day on the beach in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.

Music, Il Divo, played full blast, or Lean on Me, Andrea Bocelli and his son.

The most beautiful place.. Many places in Ireland.

When it's all over.. The simple delights of a coffee with friends in a nice busy, cafe.

Ive read many books more than once but over read wuthering heights a few times.

A film that made me cry was me before you.

Sound of silence by disturbed is amazing.

Most beautiful thing I've seen was a foal finally standing and taking his first steps and suckling off his dam we had fought for hours to save him so to see him stand was so emotional.

A beach durning a storm or the sky on a clear night.

Meet with close friends again is what I can't wait for when this lockdown ends.
