So maybe its just the virus or maybe like usual I’m overthinking. But Ive found that I’m not getting replies or that on here. What should a first message be. I usually try and ad something in from the profile.

I thought the same when I first came on ... some people are just bombarded by messages and don’t bother looking at them. Some are stuck up their own holes and just thrive off putting pics up and getting attention and some just want you to stand out.

Each to there own though haha

I just stopped sending messages ... have some class and self value brother ... let them come after you!!

I think you should be the one giving out the advice

I wouldn’t read anything into not getting replies. You’re obviously genuine and experienced and seem to bring more to the table than your average “single male” fabber. It is however difficult to spark up conversation when all you have to go by in a photo is a bit of underwear

Yeah have to agree with other users that by having so many verifications you're doing something right.

So by posting this you're just attention seeking

It should be noted that due to the volume of men on this website a lot of men experience no replies let alone meets. So yeah man, don't think you're in a correct place to say why you are getting no replies while a pandemic is on haha

Thanks For the helpful replies People much appreciated I may have posted on here before and likewise many of ye have posted on here before with more than one post on the same topic after all its a free forum isnt it ?

I probably do over think things too much but I’m not afraid to admit that I have a personality disorder and I’m working on it and have some good friends on here who are very helpful some who have replied to this thread.

People's popularity changes on here i personally don't know the op or ever chatted but a few yrs ago when i joined fab first a lady on here was very popular every thread she put up would have loads of comments.....Every pic would be number one on the top pics....She left for a while and came back new profile her threads only got a few comment and i never seen her pics on the top pics again she'd let lots of people down with meets and socials not sure if that was a factor in it......

I have nothing personal against you and you have done nothing against us.

I am always here for a conversation, all you need to is reach out to me. I know you are not a prick or a creep but unfortunately you have let more than one person down in the past that I know about, I am not sure you realize how many.

So my advice to you, if someone is kind enough to give you a spot at a party or social you have to go if you accept it.

Appreciate your kind words and Yes I’ve let people down with good reason and same organisers have chatted with me and we sorted it out and we put it in the past and left it there as it should be.

I know yer sound couple and always genuine and respectful when I meet ye both there should be more like ye on this site there are too many stuck up and ignorant people on this site.

In this world we need to be more positive and more caring towards others be it in person or hidden behind the keyboard after all the table does turn and when your on the other side you would like to be treated with same respect.

This virus will make people relise a lot of things and hopefully make them see things trough someone elses eyes.

Note to self don't ever ask for any advice here, Unless you want every past mistake or transgression you have made aired publicly. I don't know the man or have never interacted so no clue but maybe it wasn't for him in the end or maybe it's just easier for couples to attend partie's as they have each other. Any number of thing's could have added to it. If as he say's he explained and sorted it with the host's is it realy anyone else's place to disscuss here. With everything going on,is it such a major deal that someone didnt turn up to a party or chat as enough as others want them too. Maybe people have other shit going in on in their life's that fab meet's and chat groups are realy not a priority. I've heard of people being removed from chat groups because they don't contribute enough ffs we are all adult's not teenagers's!people have kid's,jobs,stressful life's outside this. Op Perhap's you are not getting relys's right now as fab has taken a back seat, most people have much more important stuff to worry about right now with all that's going on.
