I just have a quick question which I asked Google but you know how that works.. I have the bubonic plague and every STI going (potentially true), kidding.

I have spots on my inner thighs which I've never had before. Recently I started cycling a lot more and I think that's what's causing it. It's basically acne but the spots look really dark.

I know cycling shorts may be a long term answer but has anyone had a similar experience/problem? Assuming it is from cycling..

The rash you describe on your inner thighs is usually a sign that either the nose of your saddle is too wide.

Or more likely your stance width or Q-factor on your pedals is too narrow, especially if you are using dedicated cycling shoes and Look or Shimano clipless pedals.

It's possible to purchase pedals with a longer spindles, or buy some longer spindles on e-bay and fit them to your current pedals.

I would caution against getting pedal axle extenders, as they are prone to failure and causing accidents.
