What advice would you give a newbie?

How would it differ for a single lady, single man or couple

Somewhere in Co. Down

Single woman set your filters fast and ignore rude messages. Concentrate on what you want. And write it on your profile. Don't get an ego and think you are better than others.

Single guy. Write a good profile and pics. Not all dick pics. Read profiles don't spam someone with messages and just be yourself and message people you are actually interested in.

Couples write a profile saying what you look for and put pics up of both of ye not just one . And pretty much the same be themselves. And both chat if ye can. Having only one person chatting always sets alarm bells ringing with me.

I think I got most of that.

Also use them private notes saves alot of time wasting esp with repeat messages.

Maybe find a polite way to let some down. Not just ignore the messages.

Just been chatting to a few and hopefully helping them as its weird at the minute. A lot more new fake profile nasties I think.

Some pretty good advice there already.

Set your filters.

What you looking for - the amount of guys I seen miss this and it says 18-99, women men couples TVs etc and when u comment you have "straight" on your profile. They say oh didn't mean to tick that.

Get involved in the forums - probably more so than ever now. Also the chat rooms.

Photos - look at other popular profiles and see what they have, couples pic of both , men don't need 20 pics of your dick from every angle.

Most importantly it's about fun here, so be yourself get chatting and if someone not interested be polite and move on, plenty more fabbers who will be interested

More good advice.

I'm sure there is a hundred threads about being a newbie but its different at the minute.

We cant met up and verify properly who is decent etc..

East / North, Cork

My advice would be to forget even talking about arranging a meet. It's pointless. Noone knows when the restrictions will be lifted. It's very very easy for couples to meet in normal times. You'll have a queue waiting when the time comes. Relax and get to know how it works here.. or try camming!

Ye there are a lot of fakes at mo and they seem to be here just to stir as well and be nasty.

And ye good points as well about politely let people down

Private notes are so handy as well

OP you seem on the ball already, I would say just go by your instincts and enjoy yourself here. Remember it's a site for all equally and dont feel pressured by how others operate best to avoid the negativity

We've tried to pull back on the flirty, pre-meet chat. It's great fun in the build up to a meet, but fizzles out on here pretty fast when there's no end in sight.

Also, don't message anyone asking how they are coping with the lockdown. It seems every message we get is asking the same question.

I'm not the newbie. I was just chatting to a few and was wondering what advice I could pass on.

If someone doesn't reply don't bombard them with abuse respect their decisions and find someone with a mutual attraction
