Got a new phone recently and what ever pricking about on it I removed the google search bar from main screen. Have a search bar back but not original google . Any ideas . Thanks

Sounds like the widget is gone (I.e. the clock, google search bar etc).

Hold down anywhere on the main screen and it'll shrink. Options on the bottom will appear, the 3rd I think will say 'Wigets'.

Click into it and have a look for the google search bar, hold it down and drag it a little, the main screen will open and you can drop it back where it was.

If that doesnt work put your finger on any part of the screen and drag it upwards to open the app drawer.

Press the google app to give you the option to save it to the main screen
