"I was playing Gaelic at 16. I was running and stretching to punch a loose ball into an open goal. Could see "Big Eamon" out the corner of my eye. He had no designs on the ball and I knew it. I kept going, scored the goal and got absolutely poleaxed by big Eamon in the process. My back went into spasm and I was in agony for weeks and still have back problems to this day!! " I regret every second wasted playing GAA. If you spent a couple of evenings a week practicing + weekends competing in literally any other skill from childhood up to your mid 20s youd be able to make a few quid from it. Through coaching, performing, selling your work etc. Or maybe I just find football tremendously boring. | |||

"I regret pushing for pb's in various races for years; 10k's and half's mostly. A pb was amazing, but I mostly saw disappointment and it ruined the enjoyment. In the end, I lost the Garmin (a blessing) and realised what I was missing in terms of enjoying it for the social and health aspects. I now run for fun and couldn't care less about my times. "I always gave everything 100% ,my attitude was if you don't give yourself the best chance you give yourself no chance BUT..BUT ..I NEVER EVER ..not once in my life ..did l ever lose the fun and enjoyment in it..yes l trained hard , Absolutely but not once did l not enjoy it ,there is absolutely no point if the fun and enjoyment are taken out of it ..and that's something l ALWAYS try to instill into kids starting out in sport ...give it everything but DO NOT ever lose the fun in it, whatever level they reach . I was lucky to walk again but I did and I loved sports but I pushed myself because I was good, very good at some. At 16 I was playing 16's minor and senior football for my club and for wicklow ladies. I also played soccer I was training 7 days a week and some days I could have trained for 3 hours. At 18 I was trailing for professional ladies soccer but my hips starting giving me trouble which I knew would happen so I went down a road of masking my pain with medication. I am 28 now and fight with pain med addiction and in constant back and hip pain and the pain in my hips wont go till I get them replaced. " Jeez...am so sorry to hear that .. so so young to be in that physical torment,cant lie that's the worst of being so good at every sport , everyone wants a slice of you and none really Genuinely care for your over all wellbeing once they have you for their particular sport.l do Sincerely wish you the very best . | |||

Also erotic massage helps to lol " Again ,am sorry to hear of your injuries ,there is nothing worse for those that love physical fitness/sports than injuries ,they are the worst nightmare as they stop or reduce the full enjoyment that should be there , l have found as the body gets older , happens everyone ,it's important to find specific activity that suit beneficially the body ,that it's not being put under excess pressure ,it has taken you this far so Healthy and suitable fitness exercises for the body is important...which if course Sex is one of those ...YIPEEE | |||
