Years ago my date robbed my purse out of my bag while I was in the bathroom...

I thought he was just a gentleman not letting me buy a round of drinks all night... (I always offer go halves) only to find out all the money was gone from my purse next day trying to pay for something in a shop...

Whats the worst thing that happened to you on a date?

I waited for an hour. She didn't turn up. It was many years ago, and I was very unsure of myself, and nervous. I lost confidence for a while, but got over it.. But havnt forgotten, either.

coming out with random statements like...

"The world's gonna end tomorrow coz our computers went down twice the other day AND said os in a book"

This was in 2016

I literally froze with nerves I said the odd word or two but I was very quiet now this was back in my teen years I felt like a proper eijet luckily enough the evening went alot better as I came out of my shell more thankfully she was pretty much in the same way so romantic mode managed to switch back on

She brought 4 kids to the hotel room and toys for them to play with while we were going at it. Needless to say the night ended with Pamela and her five sisters

Never understand people who dont even bother to cancel..been there done that more than once.. Just be a grown up ams cancel ffs rather than let the other get ready and then wait around..

Vanilla first date

Met in a pub, knew pretty much straight away that there was no chemistry, but out of politeness had a few coffees and a chat

Barmaid knew it was a first date and how terrible it was going

Safe to say there wasn’t a second date

I was sitting in the car chilling out having a snooze after I had been out on the coast for an afternoon of surfing, and had driven inland to one of West Cork's picturesque towns. I was parked about two hundred meters up the main street from the pub where we had agreed to meet up, when she walked past. She didn't see me thankfully.

She was attractive looking woman, but she had one of those very elaborate looking hairstyles that requires ages to tease into precisely the right shape, and she was wearing a helluva lot of pink and pink accessories, so I instinctively knew this wasn't going to end well. My immediate response was to fire up the engine and drive away, but I thought "feck it, everyone deserves a chance" So I shut it off again, and made my way up the street to the agreed rendezvous point.

Upon entering the pub she threw her arms around me in a welcoming embrace, like a I was some long lost friend. In fairness, she seemed genuinely warm and friendly, enthusiastic effervescent and chatty, but after an hour of listening to her loud squeaky baby Marilyn Monroe voice that would cut through armour plated steel, I was mentally and physically drained. I was just about to make my excuses and run like a scalded cat, when she exclaimed loudly "You are a good looking guy, but why are you so negative?" and she stormed off...

Thank heavens for small mercies eh
