Try to do yoga at home, discover your inner happiness. Take time drinking your coffee or tea, read a book.

Theres not a lot to cheer us up, but I am lucky that neither my family or I have contracted covid. So that makes me cheerful.

I think this isolation thing is the right thing to do. From my own experience , I have found that as a family we have become much closer even though we are apart if you get my meaning.

"This is a daily reminder

To relax

To not get angry over small things,

To stay calm.

This is a daily reminder

To be yourself,

To not care what people think,

To know you can be anything.

This is a daily reminder

To love yourself,

To not hurt yourself,

To not work yourself up.

This is a daily reminder

That you are beautiful,

That you are amazing,

That you will succeed.

This is a daily reminder

To always have hope,

To have faith,

To know everything will be okay.

This is a daily reminder

That whatever you're doing is right,

And that you are going to be amazing.

Keep believing"

Uncertainty is always tough, Ohpee, and unfortunately that's a boat we're all in at the moment! So long as we have our health in these times, we've reason to be happy. As shown already though there's no shortage of friendly faces on here that are happy to lend an ear!

Sometimes the best thing a person can do to cheer themselves up, is to talk to someone

Sorry to read that, think everyone at some point has been down the past few weeks. Exercise, walks, audio books are good in my opinion. Talking to people too

Definitely working out a new routine but also talking to others about feelings. I reckon a lot of us are on a rollercoaster atm.

I hope things aren't too bad for you!

What's keeping me going is the nice weather (even though I'm viewing it from indoors), quality time spent with the people I'm quarantined with, quality time with my pets. I'm saving loads from not being able to shop/go out. And I'm probably spending more time with my friends than ever, even if it is only through Zoom or Skype.

I hope all is well with you, please message if you need to talk

-------------

I saw a great video by Gregg Braden recently who said that because of a loss of the way most people lived their lives even just a few weeks ago... (routines, structure and security) some people are now going through something akin to a bereavement in that they're longing for the way things used to be but are now in a completely unknown and yes for some, scary world

Myself, 12 years ago I joined a what would be termed as a Doomsday Cult which put the fear of God across me as I felt the emotions of sadness, shock, anger, panic and yes loneliness too... but believe it or not, it was a blessing in disguise because now I've been through that cycle and come out the other side to acceptance, hope and calm and in a postion to help a few others whenever I can

All I can say is that whatever you're feeling, it's usually part of a cycle and thousands if not millions of other people are going through that same process at this time, some at different stages than others...

I really don't know if any of that helps Op but if you want to pm me, would be happy to chat with you a little more.

Would definitely recommend you get in touch with a friend even if for a short chat... Stay strong

somewhere

Whats cheering me up is the amount of people offering help on this type of thread that is starting to appear more often.

One piece of advise I got from a doctor friend a few days ago was this.

No matter how bad things seem just remember IT WILL END.

Stay safe op
