Due to the amount of cancellations I have received over the past two days this event on the 19th May is no longer viable.

apologies to those who were looking forward to this event. I have run events in the past and i know this is too under subscribed now to work.

I will be running party nights in June at TheVenue and will send information to all who have given me their mail address.

Apologies again,

ginger.

Not that I was going to this M and G (far too shy to attend such things lol) but its a pity to hear one been cancelled. its a huge amount of work for someone to sift through the people asking to go and then confirming details venues etc.

its a real shame that we cant work these without people getting cold feet or whatever else happens to stop them going. After all, there can be only so many dogs/cats/goldfish that are gravely ill at any one time

na

not making excuses for anyone but a lot of things on this weekend, NW200, rugby etc might be just bad timing, but fair play to you for putting the effort in and trying.

I will definately go to one if not working.

Thanks for your efforts x

Jules needs to get his facts right before condemnation of others!

I had previously said I would go to the above event, but had pulled out because it was said in emails received from the organiser that she wouldn't know until weds if it was to go ahead or not. Thus meaning we had until weds to decide ourselves!

Then on researching the event, found it to be something other than meet and greets I've previously attended, thus wasn't for me there is also the extra charges on the door ie annual membership of this swing club. I can't speak for anyone else, but those were my reasons for cancellation.

Rant over, but don't go judging others

we didnt cancel, but were less than enamoured about going to a 'club' to meet and greet.

to us, a social should be in a pub environment.

IF the charge were to hire a private room in a pub, where they are open minded and happy to keep it away from vanilla couples, then fine and dandy, because it is just that, a meet n greet.

we have no interest in the club scene, tbh

I agree we should still party since most of us probably had to set things in motion to be free on Saturday nite

I changed everything so I could be free for this weekend.
