Not in this house,but many moons ago in an ex gf's house. Her mum had passed away a few yrs before and the dad remarried. The night before he moved out with the new wife a lot of strange stuff happened. I was trying to sleep on the couch and a woman walked through the room and out the door! And it defo wasn't the gf or her new step mother!!!!

Many years ago delivering equipment to a well known Belfast bar and one of the staff was helping to get it upstairs.

He suddenly squealed and ran off leaving me such half way on the stairs.

Apparently a lady in white had walked out of the wall right between us and passed through the opposite wall.

I saw nothing but he was as white as a ghost and didn't go back to work for a few days.

The only ghost I have seen if you wanna call them ghost was spiritual higher power kind, so friendly ghosts perhaps lol. The first one wasn't to bad got a bit of a shake but the second i ended up on my knees on the floor, frantically crying. It was the touch was so real, young lad a friend had a freak accident and appeared to me. Believe or don't believe but I got such a fright. A spirit, but it was like a ghost the fright i got. How lucky I was really when i evaluated the awaking.

Yes absofuckinglutely I have one night I was on my walk down the walking trail here in Newcastle West and I was like 10 mins from the end and of course it got dark someone walked past me cos I let them pass cos I was turning on the torches of my phone now the person would have only been like 2 meters from me I looked back up the person was gone completely vanished I don't know if he walked off into the field or just decided to jog the rest of the way but funny thing is I could see the steps coming out of the trail and the person wasn't there I was looking all around me ready for a possible confrontation but nothing but then for some reason I looked behind me then I saw it 2 round glowing lights kinda faded but definitely visible they looked like lights from the old trains because the trail here used to be a railway line but anyway these lights were getting closer and closer I swear I ran so fast between the disappearance of the person then for these strange lights coming at me I was gone but the weirdest thing was when I got on top of the bridge I looked back and there was absolutely nothing to see so I'm fully convinced that trial is haunted and its not me going mad this shit is real

Well no one is gunna tell me that ghosts aren't real especially after my experience and ive alway been skeptical about the topic especially when you see these clowns on TV ghost hunters or most haunted the most ridiculous amusing things I've ever seen its both sad and entertaining

A town near you

Many years ago while working away from home and staying in a B n B, an old 3 story terraced house in Cork city I woke during the night with someone stood over me, i jumped up shouting and swinging , by time I reached the light switch the room was empty but for me.

I slept in the van that night and found new accommodation. I was to embarrassed to tell anyone as they would think me a loon.

I've stayed in old BnBs and houses all over the place and never before or since had the same experience

I had a young boy in my last house. He messed about with my kids toys all the time. Heard him run about upstairs when mum and I were only ones there. Caught him outta the corner of my eye a few times. He wasnt any bother but scared my youngest once tho. She used to tell me she saw him alot.

Say what u like ghost/timeline but he was defo there.

I have another good one my parents told me when we was living in England my parents bought our 1st house this house belonged to an old lady that fell down the stairs she died a few days after in hospital so anyway me and my brothers were fast asleep not a sound from us my parents were in the sitting room with the door open just in case me or my brothers got up in the night well for what ever reason my father look towards the stairs and on top of it was this shadow my parents called up thinking it was one of us absolutely no answer so my mum went to the stairs just to check if we was sleep walking(which we did sometimes) but once she got to the stairs the shadow completely disappeared no noise of running feet going back to bed nothing

About a week or so after this my parents was in their room they used to leave the landing light on for us but anyway I think it was my father noticed a shadow from under the door again they called out again no answer opened the door no one there and these occurances happened a few times till it stopped but we believe it was the old lady that used to live there that fell down the stairs

My parents even checked the house in case it was actually people breaking into the house but no the house was sound and locked down

I have another one once ye have digested this oooooooooooooo

As a child i often wondered about the man who used to come into my room and stand there smiling at me.he never said a word just stood there smiling . It used to happen so often that i became very used to seeing him there and thought nothing of it . Until one day i mentioned him to my mother .by this stage i was a teenager ,my mother thought i was joking but turned pale when i assured her i wasnt messing , she asked me to describe the man ,which was easy because for years he looked the same ,a navy three piece suit , a pocket watch he sometimes twirled hanging from his waistcoat pocket a gold and black signet type ring on his left hand fourth finger and the last detail which i thought funny was his smile he had a gold tooth insert ! My mother said nothing but hurried off and when my dad came home after discussing with him she came back a while later asked me to repeat again what id told her earlier about this man to dad ,and then she took out an old black and white photo and asked me to look at it . To my surprise the same man was in the photo ! Turns out to be my grandfather i had never met him , my mother was expecting me when he passed away suddenly ! I am now in my 40s and occasionally i still see him standing over my bed , except now i know who he is !! Interestingly the man did not believe in god and on his deathbed had told his son , my dad that if there happened to be anything beyond this life , he would be sure to come back and let him know !

Aww now that was nice it started a little scary but eventually got better and even more so when you found out who he was it's interesting that he don't show up as often since you know I guess it was his way of looking over you and probably wanting you to find out who he was great story indeed

I've seen a few spirits.. I don't see them with my eyes... More a seeing with some other sense, my third eye, maybe. It happens quite a bit, usually I know there's a spirit around when when all the small hairs on my arms and back of neck rise up. I have another story to share if anyone wants to read it when I'm finished it's not a ghost encounter but kinda scary depends how you look at it

Years ago when I was living in England I was about 11 me and a group of friends decided to check out this abandoned warehouse not far from where we lived about 10 min walk or so anyway we couldn't get in the front way but at the back was the car park leading upto a back door so we went in the place was huge inside of course we didn't go in empty handed just in case we was jumped but we continued to explore around finding all sorts of things storing it all in this trolly thing we found we kept on finding different rooms the place had two floors below it have to say it was very eerie down there despite there being a group of us strangely enough there wasn't anyone else in there as we looked in every room so that put us at more ease so with the trolly being very full we decided to leave and come back the next day and get the rest of the stuff we spotted so a grand Ole day of exploring kids being kids

Next day arrives myself and my mate got back to the warehouse the others couldn't join us so me and my friend decided we would brave it just the two of us and just navigate the 2 top floors as we had no intentions of going down the lower floors whatever it was about them you just had a feeling something wasn't right anyway we got back in the same as the previous day as we closed the front door so it wouldn't attract others to go in so while we was in there we was just picking up small bits and pieces as we was before but something was different we started hearing like scuttling and rustling somewhere in the warehouse we passed no heat to it thinking it was rats or something so we finished what we was doing was ready to go out the front door again then all of a sudden a shiver shot up my back and I froze for a second I had this sick feeling we was being watched then we started hearing heavy breathing we turned our heads towards the stairs that was about 10 meters away from us there stood this man with what looked to be a crowbar in his hand wearing dark clothes staring right at us my friend slowly started opening the front door while I kept an eye on the man then bang the man started darting towards us I swear we got out of there so fast and ran all the way home none of us went back there again I literally had nightmares for at least two weeks heaven knows what would have happened if the front door didnt open because the previous day it was a little stuck when we 1st went through it or worse we could have been no where near any of the exits he could have been watching us all the time waiting for his moment then maybe I wouldn't have been here telling you this story
