Did anyone look out for the ISS passing over this glorious rock of ours last night?

Its to occur again later at 8.48pm?

Can you actually see anything?

Oh nice one. Didnt know that. Will have to look out for it tonight. I've seen it before. Luke a very bright star moving fast across the sky.

Isn't there meant to be a really bright comet some time this month too?

You can see it on a clear night. Looks like a faint star moving across the sky. Too fast to catch it on telescope I reckon but if you had a good pair of binoculars you might be able to make out the station a bit more.

Somewhere in Co. Down

Didn't know that might have a look when I get home from work later mind you it looks pretty cloudy out there now so probably pointless.

Have some good binoculars here. Might give it a go tonight. Are they the safest humans now with this pandemic happening? Must be such a strange experience up there.

Not last night. But have seen it before. Visible without magnification. Brighter and faster than seeing a satellite

Star view is a great app for star gazing and makes it easier to locate the ISS

Dunboyne & Dublin

I was looking at some bright feckin light in sky, thinking that it was ISS.

It moved left, then right.

Then Google star maps or something tells me it was Venus!!

Bollix!

You weren't out in time.

Visible for a good 10mins.

Unless Venus is seriously bright
