Anyone use this app? Is it effective? I'm thinking of using it to do a 20 minute or so coaching session with players. Keep them active.

Everyone is using zoom, fitness instructors, yoga teachers etc. It works and can take a lot of people on each call. Just beware it's in the press for security issues and now even being called malware.

Absolutely this!! Security issues all over it. Anyone who values their discretion wouldn’t touch this app with a 40 foot barge pole. When the intelligence services in the British army say they aren’t using it for “security reasons” then that’s enough for me

It's only new to me but yes i heard of insecurities also, hijacking etc. Apparently there is a few ways of securing it but after reading what your saying is makimg me think twice now.

Many have raised issues about Zoom's security. Malware seems a little harsh, but it's not as secure as other platforms

I'd be confident that houseparty is no better. Not sure how many people a Skype meeting can take or what Google Hangouts can do

Idea for the app is good,but untill security issues and data sharing issues are not sorted I'm not touching it .

They are working on security patches and updating it to make it more secure.

I certainly wouldn't have a sex party on it god no lol. Definitely worse that just using it for general use. Well maybe for you cam lovers, i would glady be a good voyeur at it.

Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom much better and much less hassle for joining parties.

Tried Zoom during the week and, without going into specific configuration details, all I can say is it's a pain in the ass!

Haven't tried Zoom but did try the House Party app-jesus that's a head melter and talk of security issues with it also so deleted it !

Skype has a user limit but it's huge. In my old company we would hold "Town Halls" on it, worldwide we would have maybe 500 on a call. Now I haven't used it in over 6 months and since covid kicked in it may be used a heck of a lot more so th only issue you may have would be stability, but as they say, you won't know until you try

Yes and the security issues are being resolved, passwords. I think it's great, no trouble with it.
