Aw your moving from Galway I love it there here il swap my rented 4 bed house here in limerick 3 spacious bedrooms 1 box room you can have the box room altho sharing your room with my family may become an issue

Well I think since your coming to cork try avoiding the flood risk spots or you might have to invest in a small boat

Welcome to Cork. It's really only the city centre that floods. Douglas is a good area. Sorry can't help with the house hunting. But you can bunk in with me anytime. XX

Traffic and prices would both steer me awah from Douglas area tbh it is a nice area though with great local nightlife....

For actual accomodation its har to say.. whats on the Market gets snapped up straight away so best to start looking when your acually ready to put a deposit down

.

Douglas, Rochestown all popular, will be a challenge to get something there. But who known what will open up after Covid-19.

At least when you move to Cork you will be local to the RVC club
