Has anybody else noticed that a lot of fake profiles have spoilt it for genuine guys! It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack on here and nobody give you the time of day no matter how polite you are!

I don't think it's down to fake profiles but about the sheer ratio of males to females on here. Women get hundreds of messages on here daily and the majority will be crass and thoughtless with men seeking a quick fuck. So if you're looking for someone to meet you have to read their profile and write out a long, clear message about why they should be interested in you. Even then they have a large selection of options so it's really about making yourself unique.

As has been said many times before, try not to blame others for your lack of success - it's seen as a rather unattractice and unappealing trait.

As the previous poster has said, there is a high ratio of single men to women and couples on fab, so you need to make yourself stand out from the crowd.

Make sure your profile is the best it can be and when you contact people, don't send a generic message that looks like it might have been copied and pasted, but make sure it's personalised and picks on things mentioned in their profile.

I find the standard of the messages and lack of respect a bigger issue then the fakes.

We get a fair few messages and better looking couples than us must get shit tons of messages a day but it’s the amount of men that can’t or won’t read a simple boring long crap profile that gets me.

I’ve yet to come across a single female or couple pretending to be a man. As far as single male profiles go, they are more likely to be genuine in that they exist.. yes there are issues with single males because they make up the largest group of members. Pro rata I doubt that single guys are any different to other groups, we all have to deal with crap from time to time
