Hi everyone,

I’m limited to a mobile phone camera unfortunately but wonder if any of you fabulous people have any tips for setting up the perfect selfie or the old mirror reflection shot?

Never happy with my attempts!

Also any thoughts on the use of filter? Not to improve looks but to make a photo interesting or are they just annoying?

Happy fabbing x

Use the timer on the phone camera, prop it up facing you and pose! Stick a black and white filter on, crop any unwanted bits out and hey presto!

Using a selfie stick can help as well. Find your best feature and take a picture of it. I personally like a peachy bottom. However the photos you have on show at the moment are quite nice.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll certainly try the timer. Not sure yet if I can bring myself to purchase a selfie stick!

Always think about what is in the background, nothing worse than dirty washing on the floor or an open toilet.

With mine you can take photos with a small controller, set the phone up away from you, then click when you are ready. I am no good with timers and end up blinking.

For some of my selfie photos, I use the camera in selfie model, turn the phone upside down and raise the phone slightly above my eye level. I have found this accentuates certain features and gives you a nice looking full body. Have a look at my photo taken on the 6th of December.

Filters wise, it's really down to you. I am use an app called Adobe Photoshop Express on my phone and that gives me a few effects and I can tweak them as desired.

Hope this helps a bit...

As others have said, the timer is your friend...

Go for maximum resolution and then crop out the bits you don't want.

If you are going to be standing up, use a towel, sheet or blanket as a backdrop, set your phone up so you can see the backdrop and frame it there.

A lot of camera's allow you to take a selfie by having your face in view then showing the palm of your hand. It will then count down so you can strike your pose.

Mine aren't exactly on the hot pics, or even fabbed, but I like them and thats more important than how popular they are.

Forget about hitting the most fabbed unless you are seriously ripped with a big cock and in a highly populated area....

Good luck and enjoy it!

Stick your phone to a wall/Mirror with Blutac somewhere where you’re in shot and timer
