Why do women state a face pic with first message when their profiles only have boobs and bums? This site would be easier if all profiles had to have face photos.

Because I/some women always don't want my face pic public.

I do have face pics on my friends only.

Yes, I ask for a face pic to be incuded in messages, if the sender doesn't have one public.

I want to see who I'm replying to if there's an attraction. No point having a dozen messages ping ponging back & forth only to find I really don't find the person attractive.

If they send one, and I do, then I'll send one back.

It's worked for me for 2½yrs without any issue, so I'm not changing how I run my profile now

If you are initiating conversation with someone you're interested in meeting, just seems like a good idea to show your face in my opinion.

What I do mind however, is when people with that blurb on their profile don't practice what they preach when they are the ones approaching me. Or when they wink instead of sending a message so they don't have to reveal first; it's like a game of face pic chicken.

Because they want to see the face of who they are messaging. You're not obligated to comply, and likewise you can request face pics on your own profile.

If you were going to contact somebody surely you would have already decided there was an attraction and you are trying to get their attention.

If they have told you a face pic is what it will take to do that, you are going to have to send it at some point, what is not sending one going to achieve?

If they were interested in you without seeing your face they would contact you.

We have always adopted the attitude whoever makes first contact sends a face pic first. It makes sense and seems more polite.

I was referring to the sense of entitlement prevalent in the male posts that often appear along the lines of 'i gotta cock. Why ain't I getting any pussy?' or 'I messaged and she didn't even reply...what a bitch!'
