So I’m single, now and have decided that I finally am going to attend a club. I have had a quick scan through the forums and see mixed experiences from the single guys. I’m hoping to pop along to either Arousals, or VA this Friday. Really unsure of which club to pop my cherry at. Any advice or experience would be well received x

Are you sure Arousal is even open on Fridays? I'm pretty sure they only do Saturdays. And this Saturday is NaughtyBiNature night, for people who are bisexual or bi-curious.

VA should be open on Friday, but so is Jaydees which is only a little bit further, near St Neots. Have a look at the reviews.

Whichever club you choose to go to, though, as a single man you can't just turn up and hope you'll be allowed in. Most clubs limit the number of single guys allowed in on a night, to try and make males:females/couples ratio acceptable.

When you make your choice which club you'd like to go to, you need to follow instructions for single guys that are on that club's website. Also, check the entry price, whether or not you can bring your own alcohol (VA is fully licensed, whereas Jaydees isn't, neither is Arousal) and what the dress code is.

On the night, you should be given a tour of the club and explained the rules. Main one in every single club: no means no.

Be happy, friendly and

approachable and smile. Talk to people as you would in a normal pub, don't follow people around and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Thank you for your advice guys, I’ll look @ jaydees also then. Will make my choice and then a phone call, and if you spot a guy that looks lost in the corner smiling at everyone plea see say hi x
