White knighting is quite common on this site, especially for single males. You come across as someone desperately looking for a meet (I've seen your posts on other threads) and think jumping on an obvious joke is one way of getting one.

Lisa comments on your post are in my opinion not misogynistic in any way, plenty of people are highly critical of their towns and the people who reside in them. The majority of the time it's local black humour with an element of warmth added to the mix,as we know we are in the joke not the joke.
