It's pretty obvious that the men on this site outnumber the women and couples lol

So I've often wondered how women work their way through the many messages that they get, what factors afce t whether a single guy gets a reply...

Personally I look at the profile and the message. 98% of the time it's clear that either my profile hasn't been read, or been read but ignored. I don't bother replying to those.

This is how I filter my messages.

No profile pic - delete

Local to me - delete

One word or very short message - delete

Obviously not read my profile - delete

Read my profile, but think they are the exception - delete

Check pics and I don’t fancy them - delete

Look at interests, if it doesn’t list safe sex - delete

I know this seems really ruthless, but I literally woke up to over twenty messages this morning and not one of them made it through it can be frustrating.

I would suggest, putting in the effort to read a woman or couples profile, and tailoring your first message so it is relevant to them, it doesn’t have to be a novel but more than a short sentence is best and, personally I like someone who comes across as friendly and isn’t crude. I hope that helps a bit.

Ive definitely found that reading a profile saves a lot of wasted time, but I can't lie I've been guilty of seeing pictures and getting lost in lust and messaging straight away lol

Got to admit, this is why I use winks, in the hope a lady will look at my profile and wink back if she likes what she sees. Do think they are under used on here because it should save time and break the ice.

It does get a little tedious if I have to analyse 30 profiles to write to 30 women when statistically 3 (or less) will be interested regardless of if I wrote the perfect message...

My decision process is even simpler: if he has read the profile and sounds like someone I can have a conversation with, we have one. A proper introduction (a name and a face) in the first or second message also helps.

Mostly I have all my message filters on so I can’t receive any. This just saves me endlessly reading crap messages from guys that obviously haven’t read my profile and “wanna fuck in my car/van now” mostly.

This means I browse profiles and I will sometimes contact someone I like the look of. If you are posting on the forums it makes you more noticeable, but you would then have to have an interesting profile with more than a couple of sentences telling me something about the type of person you are.

I also browse local profiles that can accommodate and any local updates that catch my eye.

Sometimes if I have been rejected a few times, or if I am just feeling a bit low, I will open my filters for 10 minutes. It’s usually enough to boost my ego

I posted about my "encounters" on this site in the UK forum;

To answer you - I actually do try and respond to everyone. Even if it's to say sorry not interested. (I even say I am sorry I am not interested to the people who message they want to fist my asshole). I can log on to 50 messages waiting and another 30 building up as I write back - I try and respond just to be polite.

I've learned that many men are very put off on these sites because of the lack of a simple response - if even rejection. Its actually turned many into very cynical people, which is something that we need more of right? (Intentional sarcasm.) And it isnt difficult to copy and paste a simple no thank you.

So while I do empathize with women because we do get ridiculous amounts of mail, it literally only takes 10 minutes to respond to 40 plus emails with a quick "no thank you, but keep trying!".
