Keeping safe

Hi,

We are starting to arrange our first meets and although very excited, we are also wary, especially considering all the fakes on here. What advice can you give on keeping safe? Are there any checks you would advise we do beforehand?

I would say the same meet for a drink a chat with no firm commitment to play or expectations.

I've never had a problem spotting the fakes, but then I only meet people who have verifications from meeting others. Also avoid people who are overly eager to meet there and then, as they're often chancers.

There are plenty of good people on here, I think men get a bad rep overall - the gompers can usually be clocked from miles away.

Meet for a Social cuppa first in a neutral cafe. That should give you a fair idea if they match their profile and if you want to take it further on a subsequent meet.

If in doubt always a social meet be it a pub cafe or club then its easier to make the no thanks decision if its needed.

Good advice given. You don't have to list your profile as being at the specific place that you are, so you have some leeway about where you meet others from, as well as using an appropriate social venue for you to retain some privacy.

Feel free to reverse image search photos, as some people use ones they find online. You can also use a video chat, to check out people are who they say they are and that you still find them attractive. Perhaps a couple of minutes chat could break the ice, easing any anxiety as well as confirm detailed interests and specifics of the meet plan.

It's good to have a communication schedule for pre-meet - to ensure you don't waste time etc, if someone isn't going to meet. People missing appointed timetabled points should then spark attention. It could save the hassle and costs of babysitters, traveling etc, helping you to use your time more productively and enjoyably.

A pay as you go sim could be used, to retain privacy as well as Skype, kik etc. I'm always suspicious of people who almost instantaneously want to go offsite to kik, as they more often than not just want pics etc to wank to. So just take things offsite when concluding. Staying in fab allows the site to monitor troublesome people too.

Under the Duvet

Overtly sexually convo-probably a man having a wank,no intention of meeting.

Couple chattong-usually turns out to be the Male half or just a random male, unlikely to actually meet as a couple.

Voice verify by phone early on,at which point a lot will turn into tumble w@@d.

Arrange a social first to see if there's actually any chemistry.

If it sounds or looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Day use hotels are good as you get a decent hotel for less than youd usually pay, plus you can cancel with no fee right up to the time if check in.

Good luck!
