I travel a lot and find it hard to meet with people any advice would be great

Are you sure it is just the fact you travel a lot? I could think of some other reasons, too.

I think it's not a problem, in fact an advantage.

Arrange meet few days in advance.

Make sure the travel is the main priority so if you encounter a timewaster, it's not really a big deal.

Have you tried putting up a meet? If you know where you’re going, then you could let people know where you’ll be. Also, some people tend to look at the profile as well as any messages they receive, to see if you’re the person for them. If there’s not much information, people tend to pass that profile by.

Change your question to something along the lines of 'how can I improve my chances of meeting with such a rubbish profile?' and then folks can offer advice without visiting the naughty step.

A lot of people won't meet those who will 'be in town for work' .. and especially not those who don't make an effort
