How do people feel when a social 1st meet is suggested? I prefer to have a conversation/drink first and see if there is a spark/connection/ everyone feels comfortable and then go from there

Social meet for me too. I love the build up, and it's important to see if that spark is there first. If there is no connection, I won't take it any further, so a social meet first is great as there is no expectation, therefore no big let down.

And if the spark is clearly there on both sides, what's to stop it progressing there and then, if both parties agree

We've had a couple of people now get in touch and expressed being well up for meeting up, but when we have suggested getting together for a social first have gone cold on us....

We have said in our profile that a social first is a must for us....

Probably just goes to show how many people actually read profiles?

It's a common problem, there are many who wants to meet in a hurry and go straight to bed, as soon as a social meet mentioned they go cold... Probably not worth wasting any more time on them...

We've played on first meets, we're also open to a social.but when you have limited free time a social (if nothing happens) can be a bit frustrating. it's not easy getting meets as it is so we do like to have a play.we do like a club setting as you can do both

We are the same, both really shy around new people until we feel comfortable so the thought of a social scares us. We also don’t get a lot of free time (family & work) so if we have a free night we’ll spend it at a club.

We use clubs that mixes the social aspect along with the opportunity to do more if you want to.

Socials would be pointless for us as we would never get around to swinging.

I'm sure they would be nice enough in themselves, but as it can be months between meets we'd never actually get around to swinging.

Free time very much limited.

Def a social meet first, for us there would have to be an attraction and connection for it to progress any further, that could be on the first meet if everyone involved is comfortable or after a couple of social meets x

Also with the social meet you get to know if they are genuine and who they say they are. Had a few chats on here supposingly meant to be couples but turns out the other half is never present x

We will always have a social first before any sexual activities take place. There has to some kind of connection between all involved.

I prefer to meet for a social first. It saves any awkwardness later on plus i think if social goes well it makes the fun more pleasurable
