Whilst asking questions is good, wanting others to do it for you, isn't. Most guys on the site learnt by trial and error, research and finding what works for them.

Use the forum search function and look at the hundreds of help threads that have been posted, look at other men's profiles for ideas or what people that you're attracted to want.

Focus on the people that you do match with (in that you both meet each others criteria), then go from there.

There are loads of ways that you can help yourself, people really aren't going to spoon feed you to get sex, it's hard enough doing it for themselves!

OP to be very blunt - your profile is woeful it's pretty much a copy/paste of the interests list and a series of negative sounding points about what you're not looking for, coupled with a non-descript picture that shows prospective viewers nothing.

Add to that that you've only been here a very short space of time and it's easy to see why you're struggling.

There is no magic formula that works for everyone and your profile needs to come from you, otherwise it won't be you - however a few pointers:

Write something that is positive, that reflects who you are, what you are looking for and think you can offer, be open and honest and try and inject some personality into it and come up with something that makes you stand out from the crowd.

When it comes to pics there are plenty you can do that show off your body without revealing who you are - bum and torso pics are popular, as are things like suit pics and open jeans - pics that tease and tantalise go down well as opposed to blatant and obvious. Learn how to use the timer function on your phone's camera and if you're stuck for ideas don't be scared to look round at other well verified guys pics for inspiration.

Remember there are essentially three key things to enjoying the site, although none of them guarantee a thing of course - get them right and you'll find your experience is much improved:

Attitude - be positive, don't look at the site as a competition, or measure it in terms of meets.

Approach - if you find messaging people cold isn't working for you, try something different like getting along to clubs or socials, or getting involved in the forums and chat rooms - all of which are great ways to get yourself known and getting to know others.

Expectations - set them to the lowest possible setting and then set them a notch lower.

Definitely an improvement - a little generic perhaps but just keep tweaking to add some personality and find an angle that works.

Personally I'd remove the pics with the blacked out face as they look a little Crimewatch (just keep face pics in friends only/private to share in messages) but that's just my personal opinion there's nothing wrong with them so your call

It's pretty bog standard 'profiling by numbers'

It doesn't exhibit any personality and the words are as bland as the photos

Leave it as it is for now

As a guy in his early 50's with a body to match, it doesn't matter how much glitter and sparkle you put in it, your audience is always going to be limited

Step away from the profile content, join in on the forums, show us the bits of you that no photo will ever get across

Get to know people through this medium, meet for brews and chats, attend socials, develop a presence

Fab is not easy for everyone (me included), it's often a long and winding road and you have to invest in more than photos and words to make it work

Oh and any expectations you came here with, lose them and re-build them over time and with people who want to know you

You are 53 and several of your photos have what many would consider “childish” emojis and effects on them. Especially your currently profile picture with the fruit. It’s a no from me I’m afraid.

I don't do dick pics, so the fruity one is just a bit of humour and an attempt to be different by showing my creative imaginative side.
