Tried a really great club, and will be trying it again....would love to get on the party scene in the north west, or further afield if it’s worth a hotel nearby!

Do people prefer the club scene or a nice house / venue party?

Manchester (she/her)

Clubs are safer, generally. Ground rules etc. Although pot luck as to who will be there. House rules may be more difficult to uphold and variable, but perhaps a better crowd.

I would stick to clubs you have more control and better safety there well that's my two pence worth.

A small intimate gathering at a house party is the best, where you’ve all communicated before and you just get it on

Larger house parties or clubs attract all sorts, non swingers, the clique, the socialites, the peacocks, the no kissers and the selfish..

A small gathering with people who know each other is a clique itself and the OP is asking how to get into parties after all not knowing people who do parties.

We used to host small intimate party’s for those we had meet and their friends when we lived in the midlands were always great fun

Hopefully when we have meet a cpl of cpls up here we will start holding them again

Clubs can be good though

House parties by far! At least you know or have a good idea of the people you may encounter there, at clubs, you have to pay to join the lottery...if you're lucky!
