Do people actually meet?

ive been on this site for a couple of weeks now and it seems that everyone moans about timewasters & it doesnt seem like anyone actually meets up. Feel a bit gutted as myself and others are genuine and feel we are getting nowhere!!

yeah it takes more than a couple of weeks to be honest. People like to get to know a bit about who they are meeting etc and a couple of weeks is a bit quick. Take your time and only really contact ppl you're really interested in and make sure you meet their preferences. Nothing worse than someone who doesn't meet your preferences contacting you.

Daft thread in my opinion, you've met a couple who seem to have loads of verifications so they meet! Just because people don't want to meet you it doesn't mean that they don't meet other people! Z

I can assure they do meet up. The timewaster thing is annoyong because the site actually condones it, by saying that a normal polite reply should not be expected to an email.

Not replying to a message is not timewasting - arranging to meet and not turning up without canceling is - there is a vast difference! Z

Well time taken to write the email, time to read the original ad and think of what is to be in the email. There is a time cost attached to that. Significant mutual trust and respect is the minimum meet criteria, yet that does not apply at the starting point

as to your point, how can there be mutual trust between ppl who will never meet. Your email is the cyber equivalent of a pizza leaflet through the door, if someone doesnt fancy pizza they are under no obligation to phone the company and tell them thanks but no thanks.

I find it somewhat ironic that a single guy who has been a member for just 2 weeks and who isn't a site supporter complaining of time wasters. From experience most of the time wasters on this site are single guys.

Single guys are in abundance on this site and therefore couples and single females can afford to be choosy. Also some couples might be put off by a guy with gay tendencies.

O god not another i have been here 2 mins and i havent had a meet once a day eveyday its a swingers site not a i'll shag anything with a pulse site

people on here still have their standards and some people actually like to get to know the people they are going to have fun with

my advice stop moaning and do something about it sending 3 worded messages wont help there is probably 100 males to ever woman and couple on here so try standing out from the sea of messages they get eveyday

but its like putting a advert in the paper if you put the advert in the paper but you never answer the phone then you never sell the item, which in away makes it pointless messaging people in the first place

its like if you put an advert in the paper and read your emails and dont reply as your not interested in what they are offering!

do you reply to all your unsolicted junk mail you get?

to some couples/women its very similar situation. just because they are on this website does not mean they have to reply to everything, after all its unsolicited emails asking for sex, its upto them if they reply.

whats so bad at not getting a no thanks, just get on with it!

Sorry but it does hurt to reply when you get lots of messages, I dont have time to reply to everyone, I try to reply to anyone who has sent a reasonably well thought out message and actually appears to have read our profile but I can't always do it. Then there is the annoying "why not?" type of response to the "thanks but no thanks" email that you often get that just puts you off replying to anyone you are not really interested in.
