Hi all. This is my first post and wondering how to get verified etc. I have photo verification, silver membership, and recently joined forums to get to know few people n chit chat. I realise my status doesn't suit all and don't need a lecture on it. I'm here for fun like all here. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

You can get cam verified, which a lot of single men find easier to achieve than meet veri. You need to go into the cams room, and ask there for someone to see you on camera and confirm you are genuine.

Meet veris are much better though, as not everyone would meet people who were just camera verified. How to get a meet veri? There are a few options:

1) meet someone who is verified themselves off Fab, and they can then verify that you are genuine- usually the hardest option to achieve

2) look out for organised socials in your area- go, socialize, chat to people, and then you should at least get the veri from the organisers

3) find a swingers club in your area or one you'd be happy to attend. Please make sure you contact them beforehand as single males, at most clubs, can't just turn up- it's to do with the ratio of females/couples to single men. Go without any expectations, chat to the owners/staff at the very least and ask them to verify you.

cant believe i see this question day in day out

to me it comes across as fake , i need a verification so people think i'm real .

would you join a dating site and put out a message saying right , how do i get a date

i'm of age , i joined , i worked it out , i looked for meets and socials etc etc etc , eventually met , and got a verification saying , nice guy , well mannered turned up on time etc etc etc .

not being rude , just saying .........

. Useful for who. not for me it isn't I'd rather meet someone face to face. You can talk to many a so called person on the phone then find they are nothing of the sort. A lot just like to wank while talking to you anyway . No thanks not for me. I'm here for me

I guess its because some people only meet and search for verified only so it widens their 'Net'

But not infallible. Some of the worst timewasters I've encountered have insisted on speaking on the phone but, I subsequently discovered, have had no intention of meeting

Ok, sounds like many dont like the phone option. I personally am against the cam option. Just don't like it. A quick chat on the phone isn't infallible. At least you have a better chance they're of the correct sex, even if they subsequently turn out to be a no show.

When you give an eta then text en route, if you dont get similar, then alarm bells start ringing.

Only the mean spirited would be a no show.

Meet someone who is already verified and ask them to do you after meeting that usually works.

Have to say personally I still won’t meet anyone who’s only verified by cam, just proves you’re a real person not that you’re reliable and will actually meet..

Just out of interest. Surely admin have seen you holding that piece of paper showing your username and the fab address. Doesn't that show who you are. I got my pic refused once because they couldn't see my hands holding the paper properly.

I mean, who else are people going to get to hold it whilst you take their picture?

I know its not the passport office but they do have standards. Ensuring that the hands and arms belong to the same person isn't easy.

Sadly, there are some perves out there who pretend to be women. Admin try and ensure that the paper hasn't been photoshopped onto a pic of some hottie.

Perpetrators can then give the fake profile its first veri with their main account.

Thats why fab do lifetime bans (ip address) with no recourse.

Snipping their fingers off might be more effective,though sadly, not legal.
