I've been on here for over a month and not come close to getting a meet ,social or otherwise. Could this be because I'm to old ?

The right place

I wouldn’t say you were too old. Search for the people you’re looking for and filter by the ones that say you meet their age requirements.

Or maybe try a club or a social if you haven’t already.
