Best advice is a cliche but communication is massive if you want to get into the rough stuff, be upfront about what you want to do/ have done to you, discuss limits, have a safe word, and a back up signal if there are gags, arms tied up etc.

Also, I forgot to say, have levels of safe word if your playing with someone new, somelike like green, orange, red so you can find your respctove tolerances

The best advice to give for rough sex is building that trust with someone, especially if you are the sub and are in a position where all control is out of your hands.

It's about learning what you want to try. What excites you. But also what they enjoy. Learning each others limits (and especially hard limits) is extremely important in that situation.

I also a free with the previous post about using safe words and a traffic light system.

There is also the option of using bdsm sites for meeting people and getting advice.

We both went through this when we started dating as the Mrs likes it rough but I was always scared of hurting her (I'm quite heavy handed) but communication is so important it's easier with a regular partner as you'll begin to know how far you can go and what turns them on more
