So I've been thinking about anal play. I've had fingers and a small cock. I was wanting to get a toy but not sure on a dildo or butt plug.

What are the differences?

And, how best to clean it?

A butt plug is (obviously I guess!) specifically designed to go up your arse, so usually has a broad base/flared end to stop it disappearing totally and prompting an embarrassing trip to A&E. A dildo might or might not have something similar.

Butt plugs designed for guys in particular will often have a shape intended to press on your prostate once they're inside you - look at the nexus ones for example.

They're designed to massage your prostate from the inside and outside to give you a more powerful orgasm.

Personally I'd go for a butt plug designed for blokes, there are loads to choose from and experiment with.

From the point of cleaning them, very hot soapy water, some people prefer to soak them in a bleach solution, if you do that make sure you rinse them well! Some you can put in a dishwasher - if you really want to...

Butt plug is left inserted, dildo is in and out or left in if you sit on it, then you have anal beads of varying sizes and shapes insert and slowly withdraw the beads or slowly insert the beads.

Cockring buttplugs

Ones with vibes in them

Lot of variety for anal play

All the toys come in varieties of sizes textures and shapes. Try a few, or look for anal sets

Cleaning specific toy cleaners or silicone and toy safe detergents

Sharing toys then stick condoms on them.

Some liquid hand soaps damage silicone toys

Also don't keep silicone toys together especially jelly ones. They react badly with each other and melt.

Storage zip lock food bags, keeps them clean and fuzz free and stops them from touching other toys
