Ladies what's included in your ideal first message from someone?

Face pic obvs but other than that what do you look for when scrolling through hundreds of messages from makes? Just wondering cheers x

I look at the profile before opening the message so if that isn't well written with nice pics and doesn't appeal then what is in the message is irrelevant but generally a face pic yes and no crude rubbish. Just approach people with respect as you would for real outside of fab.

I don't mind if no face picture is included at first, a bit of rapport matters to me more. Although I do check profiles.

I like to know what kind of person you are, why you wrote to me ("I'm horny", "hot pics", "You're nearby" or "I'm messaging every woman within ten miles" - I've seen it - doesn't wash), what you think we have in common, and what you have to offer me. Preferably by showing you've read my profile (and not just a line or two).

Avoid text speak.

Lots of female profiles make a point of saying they despise it.

I desperately try to ignore spelling and grammar mistakes, but more than a couple (or particularly awful errors) do count against people for me.

Definitely think about the fact that you're approaching a stranger. While you can be a bit more direct, cutting straight to "I want to X your Y you filthy slut" is off putting.

Concise but straight to the point. Decent spelling and grammar. Obvious that they've actually read my profile.

Biggest reasons I've ignored messages from guys who I might have otherwise been interested in:

1) Their location on their profile is too far away. If they're visiting my area, I won't know unless they tell me in their first message.

2) Their profile says they can't accommodate (which is a personal 'must'). For some reason, a lot of guys put down that they can't accommodate when they can and vice versa.

3) They make a lot of assumptions about me or act entitled about getting a reply back. Big nope!

I don't need a face pic straight away. In fact I prefer to chat a little first and gauge compatibility through personality before I'd expect anyone to disclose a face pic, name, etc. Seems pointless disclosing personal identifiers if you've as much chemistry as two pebbles.

Humour and originality are important... If someone makes me laugh, I'm far more likely to be intrigued and want to know more
