Using the filters will only stop the messages. Guys will still be able to view the profile, but at least the profile owner won't see that they have viewed.

I get couples who actually state in their profile text "not interested in single guys" and also have their "not looking for single guys" filter on looking at my profile. I find it slightly amusing more than anything else

I always view in stealth mode .. And then if I'm interested then I change my settings to view me in the filters .. Saves a lot of people messaging me when I'm having a nosey perv.. lol
