Personally I am not a fan of clubs. Well the ones I have been to already. If I had someone who I was compatible with for such occasions they might make the visit a different experience altogether, but this is the chicken and the egg situation.

As for everyone recommending socials, someone please tell me that it isn't mainly 'mature' people in attendance with a high male to female ratio. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with this but if you were a young male I would hazard a guess that they'd feel like a fish out of water in that type of company. It is not that people aren't inclusive and welcoming, its just a lack of compatibility and cohesion.

That’s worth knowing as I’m terrified of going to the first one alone. I'll be honest when I started with this (10 years ago on fab) I used to type "hi how are you?" Then copied then searched by single female and couple within 50 miles. Opened each one and sent the message along with a pic.

Law of averages dictated that eventually someone responds and then you're off. Take that to the next level with decent chat and arrange a meet.

Turn up to the meet with your A game. Smell good, be on form, not pissed, dress well, compliment and admire and have fun.

You then have a verification and from there it gets a lot easier.

Personally I'm scared shirtless of clubs but have had some great experiences over the years.

I'm a lot less desperate now so don't take that approach but I have definitely learned that regardless of how much you write in a message it really is lap of the gods stuff as to whether it even gets read.

I've had couples profiles before as well so saw it from other side. Sometimes you're just not on the frame of mind to even begin to answer the neverending responses.
