You need to explain why you can’t accommodate, people will assume you are married/have a girlfriend.

Women get hundreds of messages, you may just have to be patient

i wouldn't ask the question ..

never hear a female asking it !

surely we can write a profile and judge if its ok or not .

its a bit like us whats wrong with my CV ,i cant get a job....

I'd be thinking .........this fellas not the sharpest knife in the drawer, cant even write a profile.

Well that would be great but when you never get a reply to get to know someone better or if I do it's the cut and paste response of "you're not my type"" or "not meeting anyone at the moment" and when a social is advertised its for couples and single girls only then socials are out of the equation.
