I’m new here and wondered what others thought of this. Had one meet and the guy concerned picked up my phone (to take pictures) and altered my status on here and asked others to join us AS ME! Without my permission or knowledge.Also tried to dive on in there without a condom Really not happy. Just because its honest, open here (well mostly, I’ve had a HELL of a lot of timewasters and some frankly worrying stuff), why is it ok to treat me like that? Is this normal? Actually considering leaving the site if thats how it is.

That isn't ok and isn't normal for here.

Altering your status was wrong and trying to avoid using a condom beyond wrong.

Block him, if anyone attempts to be as disrespectful bin the future end the meet immediately.

A gentleman would never treat you so poorly. no wonder you were disappointed and unhappy. I guess it just goes to show how careful we all need to be when meeting people and to build up a level of trust through the usual means of talking, socialising etc.

Given the quantity of men on this site, I’d like to think there will be many that will treat you properly and with respect. You’ve just had some bad luck early on in your fab adventures! So put it down to experience and learn from that one x

Totally out of order. I had a guy try to force the no condom thing after we'd discussed I only play safe on the phone and he was supposedly ok with it. I told him to sod off, fortunately he did leave. I sent him a shit veri saying what he'd done, knowing full well he would probably block me but he left the site. Probably came back the next day. Sometimes people take advantage, it's way out of order. Please don't let it put you off, there are plenty of decent people on here.

Not normal. Report, block. I tend to talk among my small network of friends here to protect others (don't name and shame, it's against the rules, but I'll privately tell a friend about my bad experience in the hope it helps someone).

There are plenty of idiots here, but also plenty of great people. It's sometimes so hard to find the latter.

Perhaps it's a good idea to meet publicly and socially first and see what your instincts tell you about someone, and only agree to a more intimate meet later if you feel ok.

I've had a few try and go for bareback in the moment, even though I'm very clear about not being up for that. You have to keep on your toes with people.

Totally out of order, from a standard perspective, to touch others' property - as well as use their log-in details to make comments etc.

From a Fab perspective - it's inappropriate too, using another's profile to post as if they were that person.

From a safety pov, then it would be completely wrong to pretend to have safe sex but not actually do it and could constitute illegal activity.

Always report any user here who seemingly acts inappropriately, directly to admin: it is not made public and neither is their action.

Having been here around 10 years, it is really not typical behaviour for anyone. You may get hassled by messages, especially for immediate meets but people usually behave very well, when they turn up for a meet. Consider having a social meet first, to check someone out for suitability for you.

And always agree the ground rules up front, so that they have no reason to break them.

Quite simply breathtaking. That said I'm not really surprised. This site has changed so much from the days of likeminded souls that wanted to connect to what is instead a shagging version of Tinder.....I fear many people are purely interested in appendages and holes rather than people or their feelings.

Wrong in so many ways - awful that you have had that experience. If you have agreed/stipulated “safe sex only” then I would say that not using a condom is not consensual sex and thus would be a serious sexual assault.
