You use the description "hang ups" whilst I would use the word preferences.

Thats all it is and personally I have no issue with it.

I have them myself so I can hardly complain if I dont meet other peoples. I really dont lose any sleep over it.

To me it read a bit differently. More like, I might choose to explicitly mention to a potential meet that I have something that I'm insecure about. So I can be eliminated from consideration early on.

Agree totally. Not everyone wants a size 12 woman, and not everyone prefers (or can comfortably accommodate) a VWE man. I would think there that staying power and enthusiasm might be more important
