Is it easy to spot a fake profile or a keyboard warrior. Have had a few now but still can't judge them.

If people tell you how to spot them then they will change their methods and then you won’t be able to spot them anymore.

I'm not photo-verified and I'm real enough. I agree wanting to chat on WhatsApp or kik is a good indication. I don't communicate anywhere other than here until I've met someone in person

Thanks for all the advice am now hopefully chatting to some nice people see how it goes. Am now starting to see the same ones and yes the ones who want to chat off of here are very fake. Need to stay on here and chat

Never indulge them in graphic sex talk ,they will get bored and move on.

Always ask to Skype or go on cam if you suspect they are not who they say .

Go with your gut instinct and you wont go far wrong.

You can do all of that on fab in the cam rooms and now direct pics. This site gives you all the tools you need.

yes it is if it's always the guy of a couple chatting that means no woman involved normally, if the messages are fairly long and crude it's a guy women havnt got time to type long messages and are rarely crude normally,if the pics vary significantly or are pics of pics then probably old or fake pics, if they are showing interest in meeting but don't want to talk on kik or WhatsApp then that shows something not right normally loads of tell tale signs

I got accused of being a fake yesterday (not on here, mods, on Whatsapp!), because I couldn’t clear my schedule quick enough to take some photos for a potential party next week. When it became clear that I wasn’t going to be able to take them in his timescale, I took myself straight out of the running, so as to avoid being a timewaster. So I was obviously a fake, instead. *laughs and facepalms*

While there are timewasters and fantasists, fakes and dreamers on here, I find the number actually quite low for a site such as this. It’s usually just people, with busy lives and other priorities. Or possibly, just not liking the look of my noggin!

It might be a good idea to ask FAB for a section where the genuine ones can post their experiences of the fakes and timewasters so they can be safely ignored, they'll soon get fed up and disappear if their messages dry up.....a kind of reference library for the genuine ones on here?

I get called a fake every day.

Tbh I can see why men would want a kik or WhatsApp as sometimes their messages get lost in a sea of mail.

If I suddenly stop replying, I will be honest, doesn’t mean I’m fake or lied about wanting to meet, it’s that I’ve lost interest.

Yes I suppose there would have to be some control over what happens. I was thinking more of when couples get in touch, when you ask to speak to the female for confirmation and things go quiet or you chat to a female for a while then suggest a meet and magically she disappears too.....I wasn't proposing just random reporting but maybe a forum where people can write about their experiences with fakes and timewasters to save others a lot of time and effort. Just a thought?

Exactly this. It's hard trying to fit people in with a family, husband, friends and day to day life. I'm not a fake or time waster, I just can't meet straight away even if I really want to... I mean I could, but then when would I get the washing done?!!

Just tin eye the photos. Then report.Mods will delete or block.

Might take a week as there busy approving more but will happen.

Look for site supporters, most fake profiles won’t be bothered to lose actual money. Altjose looking for real meets won’t mind deoarying with a little cash.

Check if photo verified as at least can tell if real (but could still be timewasters)

Check who has verified them and how many verifications they people verifying them have

If they are a couple who have been on here for a year and not even a cam verify then I would avoid.

If you get on ok, after a week arrange a cam meet between you all , just to say hello. If they always have an excuse then you probably know.

Just a few tips xx

It's easy for a single girl or a married couple to get meets on here, they could have queues of men waiting outside their front door, so if they've been on here over a year and had no meets/verifications then they're almost certain to be fakes or at least timewasters.

maybe they disagree with verifications, maybe they've met loads but kept it to themselves, everyone is different
