So after a very slow start things tailed off...

New to this site, so thought I would say hello. The problem, as always is getting the attention of the person you mail. The ladies are spoilt for choice (and rightly so) which is great for them. So you mail and don't get a reply, do you mail them again and risk looking like a bloody stalker, or just take it they were not intrested? Maybe there should be a 'jog on button' so that us men do not bother them again. An other problem is that the ones you might click with aways seem to live miles away. I have no problem in jumping in the car and driving a few hundred miles, even if it's just for an initial face to face and a coffee. The problem arises when you find you both get on and can't get together regularly because of the travelling. So now I have just made things a whole lot worse by sounding like a moanie old git! lol...That's another thing!! Just because your 46 you get written off for being to old!

Ok,ok just call me Victor Meldrew then...

Trust me on this it's not easy...Maybe I am just not what they are looking for which is fare enough. Also there must be 100 men to every women if you read some of the comments about the ladies over following mails box's...Thanks for replying by the way.

Are you making an effort with your emails? You need to capture a woman's attention and imagination... In a sea of inbox messages 'hi how are you' or 'fancy a fuck' or 'ring me for sex' is never going to stand a chance... Take the time to actually read her profile and look for something relevant to remark on which shows your not just playing email roulette with the profiles...

This is what's worrying lol...I read the profiles well, never bother those that I don't think I would match their criteria (other than age as I am not your usual couch potato).I try to be articulate, and never discuss sex on the initial contact. Thanks for replying though. x

Hey OP. Welcome to the site.

I see you are very new here (5 weeks). It can take time to find fun on here due to high levels of single males.

Think about this... A single lady receiving as many as 100 mails per day (that's what I've heard anyway) cannot possibly play with all of them. It'll be rare if she chose one a day tbh! The odds are stacked against you so you need to make a real effort to fight off the competition.

If you joined this sight thinking it would be easy then you'll need to change your views to avoid disappointment.

....and at 46, you are actually in the 'preferred' age bracket for an awful lot of the ladies on here. It's usually a male in his 20's starting a thread like this lol.

Don't worry about it, you've only been on site 5 weeks and barely that for 3 or 4. My first few weeks I had no pics and 5 or 6 lines of text on my profile and got sweet nowt. Since then I devoted a bit of my imagination, slapped up plenty of pics and get around a dozen mails a day if I'm on regularly (a rubbish amount if I were a single woman, but for a bloke not that bad) You have to make your profile stand out, get known in the forums and take time to mix with others.

Also at 46 you're bound to be too old for some and not old enough for others. At 34 I find I fit into more age brackets than don't but am still too young/too old for some preferences.

Above all have patience and good luck!

i know, i am struggling with this today, i can be very creative at times, as you might have noticed ont he forums? but when it comes to emails people only get that one email, if it's overly creative like i can be (as in completely silly and crazy) then they think weirdo or something, no chance!) then if i tone it down i am thinking, do they think i am boring?... I am finding it difficult, but i know i am not getting replies at all.. some read me and they read my next email to, some don't read anything, and one or two are starting to make a point of deleting me asap

it's a tough virtual life we're livin.. but someones gotta live it

Thanks it is a difficult balance between getting someones interest and coming across as down right weird. Cheer for the advice! Hope you find who you are looking for.

Welcome to fab!! If you don't mind me saying but I think your profile could benefit from a bit of tweaking and that should help improve your chances of meets. The text itself is fine but would be easier to read if it was broken down into paragraphs rather than a block of text. I also spotted a couple of tyoos. You look like you've got a fit body so put more pics up in the public gallery. Your age is fine plus you can accomodate so that goes in your favour. Good luck on here and I hope you find what you're looking for. Patience is the key. It's been said that it's easier to get a shag on a night out than on here!! Ms

You misunderstand my post,I am not looking to shag my way around Kent. I am looking for one person. My post was about the fact I had been on here for 5 weeks and not had any replies to my emails.

Maybe the ladies you're messaging aren't looking for the same thing. It's unusual for people to want a 121 relationship in the swinging world but thats obviously your preference which is up to you. There are many reasons why people don't reply to messages and the sheer volume that single ladies receive is one of them. 100 a day is not unusual. Good luck anyway.

No your right. Maybe I should try another site.Problem is not looking for a conventional relationship.Thanks for replying though...Having a few emails now and all the ladies are very friendly and polite...Also getting lots of views from men which is rather flattering! Sorry chaps not my thing, but good on you. Quite a few couples as well. Never tried that so might look into it.
