People sometimes also check a profile (if there is one) as well, if not what they are looking for or no info on it they may use block to save wasting time on both sides.

I wouldn't worry. If you have a good enough reputation, and they like what they see they will message you. If they don't then that's thier choice I've never got the cock pic thing though, why do so many fellas post them ??

I block everyone who clearly does not read profiles, however polite they may be. I also block everyone I am not interested in for whatever reason. It does not make anyone a bad person - it is just a tool to avoid them contacting me again.
