Here you go as there are so many people looking for profile advice in this section, this is from my own profile...

*HELP FOR NEWBIES/NO MEETS**

This section is especially for you singles and couples that feel the urge to pm me and ask for advice etc, now you don't have to it's all here for you!

1. Read FAQ section, particularly the part about no reply, no interest, it's not considered rude. Do not bother with the Sydney university shit on your profile, it means nothing.

2. Work on your profile: decent pics and a good bio, tick interests. Put a profile pic on.

3. Get photo verified, particularly important if you are a couple or single female.

4. Get cam verified to start, you can go into the cam rooms and ask someone to help you with this. Couples must both be on at the same time.

5. Read a profile before messaging, it's polite.

6. Read existing forum threads on profile advice, some very good ones.

7. Post your own thread to ask for feedback, (not a whinging, whining entitled one!).

8. Act on said advice.

9. Go to local socials/clubs, meet people in public places.

10. Lastly, enjoy your time on fab!

Please stop giving profile advice! If someone thinks their profile, whether good or bad, is ok, then that is how it should be, only changed if they think to change something. That way it is our best option to be able to judge if we want to meet them and theirs because then only people that are looking for someone exactly like them will message or reply to them! Do you want to get to know a lazy arse that only used to have cock pics and "come at me!" On their profile, changing it around, writing a great text that has been tweaked to perfection by other forum users and not the person who's profile it is, talk to them for a day or so and THEN realise he is not the amazing, interesting wordsmith ya thought?? I would rather know what I am getting from the start tbh

An interesting thought indeed and totally get where you're coming from and certainly would never think it right to totally write someone's profile for them - that said I also don't see any harm in giving generic advice that a profile advice requester can translate into their own words and actions.

Some people genuinely do struggle with writing a profile so don't see anything wrong with generic pointers as such.

Most of the time profile advice is ignored though which is why more and more these days I don't offer it.

Most times the profile advice thresds are more of a "come look at me" thread rather than wanting advice.

I realise some to take the advice but most get ignored.. Or you end up in trouble yourself if the poster is using fake pic and part of the advice is lose the fakes lol

Agreed. Most are look at me.

Even if advice was given and there was a 50 50 split.. what does the op do.

It's a fair point. The crap profiles are useful as they make the good profiles stand out.
