Any love for a chubby guy in the NW?

Ok so I've sent a few messages around the site, had a few short conversations but then the minute I mentioned that I'm not a skinny, toned, gym junkie the chat ceases.

Surely there are some couples or ladies out there who don't mind a chunkier guy? I've tried to show my personality in my profile. Is there anything else a guy can do (besides diet coz fuck that I like pizza way too much) to drum up a bit of interest from local people?

In my experience it's down to attitude, confidence without being cocky or entitled.... And a good profile. Also try getting yourself to clubs and socials, get yourself known to people I your area.

OP I would suggest putting some more pictures on your profile that show your body shape. That way there is no need to even say you're not gym fit and toned.

Thanks I might try that. Always thought that would be more likely to put people off more haha

Ladies want to see who they are talking to. Face pics are good but the body too. If it's going to be a deal breaker then better to know before you meet.

If that is how you tell people you are not a buff boy then I am not surprised chat stops. Never apologise for not being a certain way, if you don't like being bigger then do somehing about it, if you are ok with it then don't slag of the people that are slim/fit/gym bunnies and don't put yourself down, it is very off putting! Waist size does not determine your level of attractiveness!

What Ariel said, don't put yourself down or say things like "I'm not gym fit haha". Just be yourself.

No matter what size or shape, some women will be attracted to you and some won't. There's no use in hiding what you look like or trying to "joke" about it.

I think I do OK, but then I put in a lot of effort. The competition from other guys is huge because men outnumber women more than 10:1 on this site. So I go to clubs, and socials....I organise events (more for the poly than swinging scene but it still means I am known). I interact with people on the forums.

Would I have more success if I were thin? Possibly, but then we all know there are thousands of thin guys on here moaning that they can't get a meet so who knows?

Also ditch the self depreciating status, it won't elicit much sympathy. Positiveness is sexy.
