I've been browsing this site since I joined but now I have the freedom to meet. (finally brought a house and now live alone)

Does the fact I've been a member for over a year with no verification make people think twice?

I'd love to meet a single female or couple who are willing to take a chance on a newbie.. also any comments to help improve my profile would be welcome.

Gladly meet for a social etc...

It's a nice, friendly, well written profile but I think people are suspicious of profiles over a year old with no verifications. I suggest you start a new one. Wishing you success on here.

You could try going to a club? Get chatting and drop in your fab username and wahoo they'll probably verify you.
